SIDDHASANA ... (Perfect Pose) This is the seated asana you should place yourself in when you move from the standing postures to the floor postures. After doing the standing postures it is beneficial to sit in Siddhasana for a few moments while taking a few deep Yogic breaths before beginning the floor postures. After you have centered yourself in Siddhasana you may proceed. This is also one of the best postures for meditation. This is the one I use most of the time.
